SnapApps
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what SnapApps does — and does not — collect, store, and share when you use any SnapApps product or visit snapapps.app.
Last updated: May 1, 2026
Quick Summary
- SnapApps does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
- SnapApps does not embed advertising or third-party tracking SDKs in any of its apps.
- Most SnapApps products operate locally on your device. Anything that leaves the device is described per-product below.
- Support messages you send through any SnapApps support form are used only to respond to your request.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the snapapps.app website and to all mobile and desktop applications published by SnapApps, including but not limited to:
- SnapKiosk — a single-app kiosk lockdown app for managed devices.
- MafiaFaceoff — a Buffalo Sabres fan companion app.
- MafiaKickoff — a Buffalo Bills fan companion app.
- SnapElevate — a Microsoft Entra ID privileged role activation utility.
- SnapTune — an enterprise mobility management companion app.
Where a specific product collects, transmits, or stores data differently from this baseline, that product is described in section 3.
2. General Practices
What SnapApps does not do
- SnapApps does not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
- SnapApps does not share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
- SnapApps does not embed advertising or third-party analytics SDKs in any app.
- SnapApps does not use cookies on snapapps.app for tracking or advertising. The site uses only the technical resources required to load and render pages.
What SnapApps may collect through normal web hosting
The snapapps.app website is served through standard web hosting infrastructure. Hosting providers may automatically log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and abuse-prevention purposes. SnapApps does not use this information for advertising, profiling, or analytics.
3. Per-Product Data Practices
SnapKiosk
SnapKiosk is designed to run as a single-app kiosk on a managed device.
- SnapKiosk does not collect any personal information from end users of the kiosk.
- SnapKiosk does not require an account, sign-in, or registration.
- SnapKiosk does not transmit usage data, analytics, or telemetry to SnapApps.
- Configuration of SnapKiosk is delivered through your Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution and remains on the managed device. SnapApps does not receive or store this configuration.
- SnapKiosk does not embed any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
MafiaFaceoff and MafiaKickoff
MafiaFaceoff and MafiaKickoff display publicly available sports information for the Buffalo Sabres (NHL) and Buffalo Bills (NFL) respectively. Neither app requires an account.
- Game scores, schedules, standings, and related public sports data are retrieved from third-party sports data providers and displayed in the app. No personal information is sent in these requests beyond what is required for the app to function (such as a device push token, where applicable).
- If you opt in to push notifications, the app registers an anonymous push token with SnapApps' backend (hosted on Supabase) so that game alerts can be delivered. The token is not linked to your name, email, or any other identifier.
- If you submit feedback through the in-app feedback form, the message you write — and any name or email you choose to provide — is sent to SnapApps' backend so that SnapApps can review and respond. Providing a name or email is optional.
- Live Activity tokens, where used, are stored only for the duration needed to deliver score updates for an active game and are removed when the activity ends.
- Neither app embeds third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Neither MafiaFaceoff nor MafiaKickoff is affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Hockey League, the National Football League, the Buffalo Sabres, or the Buffalo Bills.
SnapElevate
SnapElevate is a utility for activating Microsoft Entra ID Privileged Identity Management (PIM) roles. SnapElevate authenticates against Microsoft Entra ID using the Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL).
- Authentication is handled directly between your device and Microsoft. SnapApps does not see, receive, or store your Microsoft credentials, tokens, or session data.
- Access tokens issued by Microsoft are held only in the platform's secure storage (iOS Keychain or equivalent) and are managed by MSAL.
- All role activation operations are performed through Microsoft Graph against your organization's tenant. SnapApps' servers are not involved in these operations.
- SnapElevate does not transmit role names, group memberships, or activity logs to SnapApps.
SnapTune
SnapTune is described in detail in the dedicated SnapTune Security and Privacy document, which is incorporated into this policy by reference for users of that product.
4. Support Communications
If you contact SnapApps through a support form (for example, the SnapKiosk support form or the MafiaFaceoff feedback form) or by email:
- The contents of your message, and any name or email address you choose to provide, are stored in SnapApps' backend (Supabase) and emailed to SnapApps' support address (handled through Resend) so that SnapApps can respond.
- This information is used only to respond to your request and to improve SnapApps' products. It is not used for marketing.
- You can request deletion of your support communications at any time by emailing the address listed in section 9.
5. Security
SnapApps follows reasonable technical and organizational practices to protect data:
- All network communication between SnapApps apps and SnapApps backends uses TLS encryption.
- Server-side data is stored in Supabase, which provides encryption at rest and standard access controls.
- App binaries are code-signed through their respective platforms (Apple App Store, Google Play).
- SnapApps applies dependency auditing and secure coding practices during development.
No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a security issue is identified, SnapApps will respond promptly and notify affected users where appropriate.
6. Children
SnapApps' products are not directed to children under the age of 13, and SnapApps does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to SnapApps, please contact SnapApps using the address in section 9, and any such information will be deleted.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information that SnapApps holds about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because most SnapApps products do not collect personal information at all, in many cases SnapApps holds no information about you to act on.
If you have submitted support communications and would like them accessed or deleted, contact SnapApps using the address in section 9.
8. Changes to This Policy
SnapApps may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of SnapApps' products after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
